May [Waning Gibbous] Sound Meditation

Within Ancient Chinese Wisdom, life contains a rhythmic pulse that subtly influences and organizes the energy of all cycles and events - both within the naturel and human worlds. This rhythm is felt via expansion and contraction, flow and control, light and dark. These rhythms include the daily cycle [circadian or 24-hour clock], the monthly cycle [moon phase], the seasonal cycle [five seasons], and the life cycle [five rhythms].

In May, we are rooted in the Spring season. Represented by the Wood element, Spring controls the liver and gallbladder, influences emotions related to frustration versus patience, and guides our ability to see beyond the clutter of everyday life.

The liver, known as the Official of Strategic Planning, is the grand architect for our vision of the future. Its companion, the gallbladder, gives the ability to make decisions and judge wisely. Without the vision and planning energy of the Wood element, decision, direction and movement becomes difficult, frustrating and even immobilizing.

In the Spring Sound Meditation, we will tap into the rhythmic energy of the season and moon cycle to build deep connection to self, the Wood element, and Pachamama. The workshop will be an immersive energy movement + sound experience and will provide takeaway tools to support strategic action and groundedness for better living ‘life on purpose.’
